Starfox-General Pepper

And now here's a sketch I did of General Pepper, the Head Commanding Officer of the Cornerian Armed Defense Forces. Long before the Starfox team was founded by James McCloud, General Pepper banished Andross to planet Venom as punishment for his rebellious criminal actions against Corneria. During the course of the games, he acts as the primary source for the Starfox team's missions.

In the first two games of the series, he was depicted as a middle-aged canine who sported a red military uniform with badges, and dark sunglasses. As time went on, General Pepper grew ill due to his advancing age and retired from his role as the Commanding Officer of Corneria's Military. He subsequently passed on his role to Peppy Hare, and was confined to his death bed in Starfox Command. General Pepper is most likely a dog. Though his breed is often disputed even to this day. I always thought he was a Bloodhound or a St. Bernard. Though I could be wrong.

General Pepper was voiced by the late Daisuke Gori in the Japanese version of Starfox 64. But nowadays, he is voiced by Michihiro Ikemizu in all the Japanese language releases of the games that followed afterwards. In English, he was voiced by Rick May in Starfox 64, and by Gary Eubank in Assault. Interestingly, Rick May was the same actor who did the voice of Wolf O'Donnell in his debut appearance.
