Boomer the Great Dane

Well, ladies and gentlemen, its been a while now since I mentioned Boomer. And I know it took me long enough to finally draw a sketch of him. But hey, you know the old saying; better late than never. So here he is at last. Now, I haven't been able to figure out what his background is or what country he could be from. But since Great Danes originate from Germany, I guess he could be from there since Roger, an OC belonging to is a German Shepherd from America. Boomer was chosen for his combat skills and prowess (as Great Danes are often used for guarding). I figured that Boomer should be young, being roughly the same age as Roger. I haven't figured out his powers yet. But he is closest friends with Exile, Blitz, Tsunami, and Roger. But he has high respect for Hunter for his leadership skills. However, Boomer is assigned to Team B, lead by Tsunami. When drawing Boomer, I based part of his design on Elijah from "Dracula: Sovereign of the Damned" (1980), and some of it from Scooby Doo. And admittedly I took some hints from Ben and Ken from Ginga Densetsu Weed. But I wanted to do my own take on a Great Dane and not copy exactly. And well, this is what I came up with. Not exactly my best attempt at drawing a Great Dane. But its good enough for my first try I suppose. After all, this is only a quick sketch. Enjoy.
