Hey, what's up? Well, first of all, I never thought this would happen in a million years. But I have some good news. Road Rovers has finally been released on DVD. Yes, it's true. After almost 20 long years since the show was broadcast on Kid's WB, Warner Bros FINALLY at long last decided to give this underrated American cartoon the domestic release that it deserved so long ago. Right now I'm in tears of joy. Because I started to lose hope for the series. Fearing that it would forever remain in the darkness, never to see the light of day again. But finally, there is a sign of hope. I mean sure. The series hasn't really been revived. But at least Warner Bros made the effort to put the show on DVD for the first time ever. And as far as I'm concerned, we really couldn't ask for anything more than this. Because in the end, having Road Rovers on DVD is enough of a bargain. Sure, we can always dream about a revival of the series. But that's not going to happen any time soon. So we might as well make do with what we're given. Besides, now that Road Rovers has finally been given its long overdue domestic release, fans can now own the whole series with better picture and sound quality, and with no commercial interruptions. And hopefully this DVD will feature the unedited version of episode 13, which to my memory was only shown on TV once before being cut from the episode and never being shown again. No, this time fans can finally see what they've missed out on, and hopefully this will create a new generation of fans to get them interested in the series. Just maybe. For those of you who are genuinely curious to get a hold of this DVD, you probably won't be able to find it in stores due to the series' obscurity. But you can however, order it from this website. Hope you enjoy.

I found out last week when TV Shows On DVD sent me an e-mail about it. Needless to say, this was my reaction: Jawdrop :jawdrop: :jawdrop: jawdrop revamp :jawdrop: rvmp la-jawdrop :JawDrop: Candy la-jawdrop (reversed)

At least Warner Bros. makes an effort to get their shows released, albeit they tend to be kind of slow about it. That's more than I can say for Disney. :)
