Unnamed Bear Character

Description

I never thought I would visit this show again after so many years later. But since MetalExveemon reintroduced me to the character Plundor from the 1983 cartoon series "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe", I rediscovered the show on YouTube, and I relived a lot of long lost memories that remained locked up in the back of my head for ages. Because if you remember what I stated in my review of Road Rovers, I mentioned that He-Man was among the many shows that are still remembered to this day. And as I was re-watching the numerous episodes of He-Man on YouTube, I came cross this one episode titled "Pawns of the Game Master". And mind you, this was before that horrid show "Captain N: The Game Master" made its debut in 1988. But anyway, in "Pawns of the Game Master", I came across yet another one shot character with a questionable fashion sense. And yes, a lot like Captain Sabertooth from Dinosaucers, this nameless bear character has only appeared in one episode, and he had a questionable fashion sense like many other fictional characters I can think of. He wore black boots, black wrist bands, a black speedo, and he wore bluish chest armor and a bluish helmet. A lot like Fluffy and Spot, this bear didn't talk, and he only made animalistic sounds like growling, snarling, and roaring. And as you can imagine, he was a bit of a clumsy bumbling minion who often got his ass handed to him. Especially when you count the part where Teela throws him into a cell, and locks him inside. The bear was a minion who served the villain of the episode, the Game Master. For some reason, I found this bear to be rather cute. And also like Fluffy and Spot, he wasn't really evil, he was just a slave who was forced to work for the Game Master against his own will. So by the end of the episode, he and the other minions were set free, and returned to their homes by the Sorceress. While I like the bear's fashion sense, I think the only thing he's missing is a belt. I don't know. But for some reason, I feel that characters wearing speedos or leotards look more complete with a belt. It may not serve much purpose, but it gives their outfits a more complete and solid look. But now that I think of it, this bear has somewhat of a resmblence to Spot from Road Rovers. Mainly because he wears a bluish helmet and chest armor along with black briefs.
