Shinigami's Sword

This is the first time I drew a weapon by itself and not in the possession of another character. Well, actually, it's not. But I thought I'd do a solo picture of Shinigami's sword by itself without it's user. Now, as I said before, this weapon used by the lethal cyber ninja looks like a classic katana. But it's actually a technologically advanced sword with a plasma aura. When Shinigami uses it, the sword glows with a blue aura, and can emit powerful slashes of high voltage plasma energy. When it does this, the sword can literally slice through anything. It is far more powerful than an ordinary sword. Admittedly I kind of got this idea from Strider Hiryu, since he too uses a plasma sword called a cypher. But Shinigami's sword is modeled after the katana, which was used by the ninjas and the samurais during the feudal era. The handle contains a mechanism that empowers the blade of the sword, enabling it to cut through solid matter with ease, leaving a trail of death and destruction in its wake. It's kind of like a light saber, but it's more of a katana shaped plasma cutter. And from what I heard, plasma cutters can reach up to 2 million degrees celsius, which is 3.6 degrees fahrenheit. And Shinigami was an expert at using it. Which is to be expected since he was programmed to fight like a ninja. Hence why he is called "Cyber Ninja Shinigami".
