Sheng-Long The Tiger (Remake)

It's been a while since I drew this guy. So I decided to come back to him. This is a remake of an earlier sketch I made last year, which I wasn't quite satisfied with. As you can see, I spent more time on this sketch, and I was able to flesh out the details more accurately. Not only did I get the details on his face, tail, arms, and legs more precise to the way I pictured it in my head, but I also went easy with the details on his package (groin area). Because as SilverZeo pointed out to me in one of his comments regarding my earlier work, I tend to exaggerate with the crotch. And well, he's quite right. And I'm trying my best not to exaggerate on those details. But aside from that, I'm actually glad with how this newer sketch turned out. Sheng-Long (Spirit Dragon as his name translates) looks quite menacing and intimidating. And the way I positioned his arms was inspired by MetalExveemon's take on him with the extended claws. I can imagine Sheng-Long's claws extending in the same way Blitz's claws extend from his fingers. Another example of a character with expandable claws is Pythona from GI Joe: The Movie (1987). Only her claws are tipped with acid as I've pointed out in my review of that movie. This illustration looks like it came straight out of a comic book. In fact, I'm having a hard time believing that I drew this.
