Erma Langinstein

Does anybody remember this character? Well, if not, I can't say I blame you. It's been almost 30 years since her debut. And well, the world has changed so much since then. But such is life. Anyway, for those of you who don't know who this is, this is Erma from the original TMNT cartoon from 1987. And yes, she was a supporting character who appeared in at least several episodes of the show. Erma was a friend to April O'Neil, and to the ninja turtles. While she wasn't all that important, Erma was at least tolerable, and she did serve some importance in her appearances. Even though it was mostly as a damsel in distress, or as a comic relief character. But yeah, Erma is a character who I truly miss. She's only appeared in the 1987 TMNT series, and she was never seen or heard from again since then. There was kind of a homage to her in the more recent 2012 series, although it wasn't really Erma, it turned out being a transformable robotic body for Krang Subprime. I guess I could be mad at this. But oh well. At least it wasn't as bad a disappointment as Rodimus' one and only appearance in TFA. Especially since Erma didn't really exist in the 2012 series. So I'll let that slide. But yeah, I do miss Erma. Now that I think of it, she kind of bares a slight resemblance to Velma from Scooby Doo. Mainly because of her glasses.
