Blitz Runs Away

And now, here's another sketch based on the soon to be fanfic "Blitz Returns". Or rather, this is based on a scene from the first draft that I wrote sometime before I joined DA. And this takes place after Blitz finally snaps into a violent rage, which results in him being banished from the team. The Doberman gets scolded and criticized for his actions by everybody on the team including Professor Shepherd (except for Tsunami, who remains silent). After witnessing Blitz's actions against Hunter and Exile, the master stands in shock, and takes it out on him harshly. And then the others add to the problem by saying very hateful things towards him. Hunter couldn't believe that Blitz punched him in the face. He never thought he would ever do that seeing how much of a wuss Blitz was. And just now it seemed he gained the balls to stand up for himself. But the rest of the team were simply furious. And so an angry Colleen threatens; "You're lucky I'm not going to beat the ever living snot out of you for this, you miserable coward! Because right now I feel like cracking your head open!" Followed by Exile adding "I always knew you were no good! But this time you've gone too far! You assaulted our leader! You're just as bad your brother Geist! And you should be put down like a rabid dog!" And then Hunter joins in "Blitz. After all the times we've saved your life, this is how you repay us? I can't believe you! I always knew you were pushy, but now I've completely lost my respect for you! From now on, you are out of this team!"

And that's when an angry Blitz finally snaps, and shouts "SHUT UP!!! JUST SHUT THE HELL UP!!! ALL OF YOU!!! I've had enough... I've had enough of all of you... Geist was right; you're not my friends. You never even valued me as a member of this team. You're my enemies!" The Road Rovers then look towards the Doberman in suspicion. And then Hunter asked "Blitz? What's this about you and Geist?" Blitz then continued: "My brother... He knew what we was talking about... He told me the truth! And I refused to listen! But I now understand what he was trying to tell me! You hate me! You all hate me! What do you care about my problems? What do you care if I live or die? I'm nothing to you! I'm not your comrade! I'm not even family! I'm just a loser! Just the mere scapegoat of the team! All this time you treated me like garbage! AND I'M TIRED OF THIS!!! You always made fun of me just for your own sick amusement! But I will stand for it no more! If you all hate me so much, then I'm getting the hell out of here! And I'm not coming back! I QUIT!!!" And so, the frustrated Doberman races out the door in tears. Exile shouts out "Go ahead! Leave! We never needed you anyway! Good riddance!" And Colleen adds "I hope we NEVER see you again, you worthless loser!" Hunter however, still sore from the punch he received, just thinks to himself; "I can't believe Blitz snapped. I just can't believe it".

Meanwhile, Blitz has made it as far away from Road Rover HQ as he could possibly go. And is seen racing through the desert, dressed in casual clothes, and carrying his bags with him as he sheds thick tears of shame and sadness. All while he hears Geist's voice echoing through his head; "Leave, brother. Leave the Road Rovers. Run far away, and never come back. You are nothing more than a complete disgrace to nature. That's all you are, and that's all you ever will be." As Blitz continues racing through the forest, all of his memories that were locked up inside his head continued to haunt him. And so begins the story of "Blitz Returns".
